Alternative Material Weaving Project-Rainbow Village
* Created inspiration boards and sketches to support design decisions
* Investigated alternative materials for warp and weft such as nylon cord and cut strips of canvas
* Designed weaving draft on Weavepoint Program
* Experimented with dying and using fabric paint on weft materials
* Explored adding to surface texture using various hand embroidery stitches using different acrylic yarns

Doll Design Project-Romanian Creatures
* Investigated location of interest to inspire project designs
* Researched the Country of Romania and it's mythological creatures
* Outlined design ideas for creature dolls through digital sketches using ArtRage,Adobe Draw and Procreate
* Designed scaled prototypes by needle and wet felting
* Created original templates for the dolls
* Constructed dolls through applying different techniques including machine embroidery, hand stitching, wet felting, needle felting, and fabric dying
* Explored alternative dying approaches by using tea to achieve designed flesh tones on both the fabric and felt

Machine Embroidery Project- New Orleans
* Extensive research into New Orleans's lore and superstitions
* Executed Machine embroidery techniques using Bernina sewing machine
* Designed a collection of three Machine and hand embroidered wall hangings inspired by the lore and supernatural creatures
* Used Acid dyes to achieve the colors for the fabrics used for embroidery
* Used alternative materials including glass beads, plastic beads, faux feathers, and doll hair

* Researched location's history and wildlife
* Drew inspiration from the color schemes and textures photographed
* Designed sketches based upon texture and wildlife
* Created woven samples on a four-harness floor loom
* Explored many different weaving patterns and techniques

* Constructed a wooden cage and combined it with hand stitched felt and clay pieces

* Researched the variety of marine life exhibited in the aquarium
* Employed various dying techniques such as shibori, resist, Acid and reactive dying
