Since an early age I have had a fascination and passion for art. My original interest was in drawing but during my time at community college I developed an interest in fiber related arts. This budding interest led me to perusing a crafts degree with a concentration in fibers at Kutztown university.
I have struggled with anxiety throughout my lifetime and have found an outlet in art related activities. To me, it is the easiest way to express myself and my interests. Through my art, I am learning to grow and discover myself. Though my anxiety is still present, I am battling it one day at a time and learning how to channel it into creativity.
Through my work I like to share my love for paranormal and mythological creatures by combining them with various techniques I have learnt during my time at Kutztown. I enjoy incorporating known creatures and ones of my own design with different embroidery techniques, such as hand and machine embroidering and weaving.
I hope my original pieces and ideas help to inspire others and give artists like myself hope and inspiration to continue expressing themselves freely and to always be themeslves.
